Hourly reception scans
Scans are usually performed every hour. My testing is with 4 antennas on a DMXMD-40.
46ft - CYD-1430 on a RCA TVPRAMP1R preamp pointed towards Watertown (on rotor)
43ft - Winegard HD8800 on a Kitztech KT-200 preamp pointed towards Watertown (on rotor)
39ft - 4 Bay Clone on a CPA-19 preamp pointed towards Mount Mansfield Vermont
37ft - DB8e on a Channel Master 7777 (dual input one) pointed towards South Colton and Plattsburg.
I have three HDHomeRun units, with a total of 4 inputs and 6 tuners attached to the 4 antennas. If all antennas receive the station, the table will only show the last scan. The antennas are scanned from top to bottom, i.e.. the DB8e is last.
All received channels are verified with both callsign and frequency against the FCC database to ensure accuracy. My longest receptions thus far has been Boston WGBH at 482 km. Longest regular reception is WCFE at 146 km.
